Using Second Recipients in Your Web-Link Account

All about Recipient 1 and Recipient 2
Web-Link includes features that allow you to assign two users in your account, rather than one, to receive data for download into ADM and two users, rather than one, to receive scored profiles and narratives from any form. This wider sharing applies to key-entered forms as well as electronic forms completed online by your respondents.
Data Download to ADM
Web-Link customers include service agencies that share a Web-Link as part of a larger, "umbrella", agency. Designating the second ADM data recipient allows the service agency to obtain form data for their ADM while automatically sending the same form data directly to the umbrella agency from Web-Link. This feature saves the service agency the time and labor of importing the form into ADM, exporting it to a transfer file and sending the transfer file to the umbrella agency. This feature also removes the potential errors and confusion that can arise from that rather complicated process.
Scored profiles and narratives
A similar feature is available for sharing scored profiles and narratives. This type of sharing is efficient and a clincially useful tool when scored output is needed by two users. For example, the clinician conducting a counselling session needs a profile as soon as it is entered. That same profile can also be sent to your medical records person to be included in the patient's chart. Another example of this convenient feature is to allow a supervisor to see the profile that her trainee will use to write up a psychological assessment.

Please note that both recipients receive the same output type(s), that is, you cannot send a profile to one recipient and a narrative to another recipient. If only "Profile" is selected, each recipient receives the profile, if only "Narrative" is selected, each recipient receives the narrative, and if both types are selected, each recipient receives the profile and the narrative.
How to implement and use the second recipients
Setting up second recipients - for Adminstrators and Managers
  1. From the Account Manager screen, click on the link to "Account Setup", then click the link for "User Maintenance".
  2. Click the "New" button to add a new user, or select a user from the list and click the "Edit" button.
  3. In the boxes for Data download to ADM and Scoring, select the desired recipients from the lists.
    1. To indicate that you do not want a recipient, select the blank choice at the top of the list.
    2. To remove all recipients, simply uncheck the box(es) for "Data download to ADM" or "Profile" and "Narrative" (recipients will be removed when you save your changes).
  4. Click the "Save" button in the bar at the top of the screen.
Setting up second recipients - for Users
Users who are allowed to change their personal settings can change their default settings for second recipients.
  1. From the Account Manager screen, click on the link to "Personal Settings", then click the link for "Edit Personal Settings".
  2. In the areas for Data download to ADM and Scoring, select the desired recipients from the lists.
    1. To indicate that you do not want a recipient, select the blank choice at the top of the list.
    2. To remove all recipients, simply uncheck the box(es) for "Data download to ADM" or "Profile and "Narrative" (recipients will be removed when you save your changes).
  3. Click the "Submit" button in the bar at the top of the screen.
Selecting second recipients - Key entry
At the beginning of key entry, the "Key Entry - Form Selections" screen is the first screen where you can assign recipients to output. When you first come to this screen, the choices set by your account administrator, or your personal settings, are displayed. To change these choices:
  1. In the areas for Data download to ADM and Scoring, select the desired recipients from the lists.
    1. To indicate that you do not want a recipient, select the blank choice at the top of the list.
    2. To remove all recipients, simply uncheck the box(es) for "Data download to ADM" or "Profile and "Narrative" (recipients when you continue to the next screen).
  2. Click the "Next" button in the bar at the top of the screen.
At the end of key entry, on the "Key Entry - Submit Output" screen, you will be able to change your recipient choices. In order to select a recipient from a list, you must first check the box for that kind of output. For example, you cannot select a recipient for scoring until either the "Profile" or "Narrative" boxes are checked. If your account includes user groups, the list of available groups changes dynamically with the recipients you select.
Selecting second recipients - Electronic forms
On the "Electronic Form Request - Submit Form" screen, you can assign recipients to output. When you first come to this screen, the choices set by your account administrator, or your own personal settings, are displayed. To change these settings:
  1. In the areas for Data download to ADM and Scoring, select the desired recipients from the lists.
    1. To indicate that you do not want a recipient, select the blank choice at the top of the list.
    2. To remove all recipients, simply uncheck the box(es) for "Data download to ADM" or "Profile and "Narrative".
    3. In order to select a recipient from a list, you must first check the box for that kind of output. For example, you cannot select a recipient for scoring until either the "Profile" or "Narrative" boxes are checked.
    4. If your account includes user groups, the list of available groups changes dynamically with the recipients you select.
  2. Click the "Submit" button when you have made all your choices.
